Bout of Books Read-a-thon: Day 1 Challenge – Photo Scavenger Hunt

I will probably be posting a lot more frequently this week due to the read-a-thon, but I’ll try to keep my posts staggered so they don’t all come at once (a few hours between each one at least, if I can swing it). So, this morning I’ve decided to take up Stefani at CaughtReadHanded‘s challenge of a photo scavenger hunt based on the books on my shelf.

The List:

Find a book with the following criteria on a bookshelf:
1. Find an author with the same initials as you
2. Find a book with the color yellow on it
3. Find an author’s name with the letter “S” in it
4. Find a book with a female protagonist
5. Find the longest book you own
6. Find a book with a map in it or on it
7. Find a book with a face on it (photograph or illustrated)
Bonus: Find something on your shelf that isn’t a book.

Here’s my picture entry.

2015-01-05 10.06.34

1. Harper Lee – To Kill A Mockingbird / Heather Lawson
2. Maureen Johnson – The Key to the Golden Firebird
3. Brandon Sanderson – The Way of Kings
4. Jane Rogers – The Testament of Jessie Lamb
5. Jacob Gimm – The Complete Grimm Fairy Tales (1,019 pages)
6. David Hair – Mage’s Blood
7. Eoin Colfer – Artemis Fowl
Bonus: Funko Pops of Tyrion and Sven!

This was a fun challenge and I’m super happy that I managed to find a book for all the tasks!
