#NaNoWriMo Day Nine

Well, I have well and truly hit my writing slump for this NaNo experience. I’m not too worried (I’m still ahead), but I’ll need to get some motivation soon otherwise I will end up falling behind!

30 Day NaNoWriMo Challenge

Day 9 – Have you told anyone else you’re doing NaNoWriMo this year? Who? What was their reaction?

A lot of people in my day-to-day life know that I write, so I don’t even need to really tell them I’m doing NaNo. When someone asks me how my book is going, I tell them I’m writing something new for NaNoWriMo and then we usually end up having a little discussion about both the event and my book. It’s nice. People are really supportive of my writing, thankfully.

Today was another tough day, writing wise for me. I’m not really doing any writing outside of sprints – and when I do sprints, I seem to only do one and then get distracted by other things. I’m disappointed I still haven’t reached 20k yet, but I’m hoping that tomorrow will finally be the day!

First line I wrote today:

There was another me standing behind them, trying to get my attention by waving her arms in the air.

Last line I wrote today:

We had to leave.
