#NaNoWriMo Day Twenty-Nine

We’re on the last two days! I can’t believe how quickly the month has flown by. I’m starting to wish I hadn’t struggled so much during the middle of the month because I’ve got some serious catching up to do now if I want to get the win!

30 Day NaNoWriMo Challenge

Day 29 – Name one thing in which you indulged as a treat to keep yourself motivated and writing that you wouldn’t otherwise have done.

I actually didn’t have anything this year. In years past, I’ve used chocolate as a motivator and it worked really well but I didn’t do that this year.

I decided to give the crawl up now that there’s only two days left. For the next two days I need to write around 7,300 words to still make it and considering I’ve not written more than 3k on any given day so far, this is a challenge.

I was aiming at 500 words every half hour for as long as I could manage. I did have a train to catch back to my folk’s house (for the last time before I move permanently!), so that ate up a couple hours unfortunately. However, by the end of the night, I had written 3,111 words!

It’s still a long way from where I need to be because there’s only one day left now and I still need to write 11,474 words.

I have work and I’m going shopping for new work uniforms tomorrow night, so I’m not sure how much writing will get done but I’m going to try my hardest to get that 50k. I started off so well, it would be a shame to get to the end and not make it.

First line I wrote today:

‘It’s time to fight back!’

Last line I wrote today:

I couldn’t keep track of everything, it was making my head hurt.
