I’ve decided to add a new feature to my Week In Review posts at the end of the week. I already have the separate post for what I’ve been reading and what I’ve posted here on the blog, so I figured why not have another post to show what books I’ve picked up during the week (or in the case of this first one, two weeks)?
These are in no particular order because I can’t remember which ones I got first.
I was lucky enough to get an ARC copy of this book from a lovely publicist on Twitter who was having a bit of a clear out. I’ve heard a lot of great things about this book on Twitter and I’m excited to pick it up soon.
Release Date: 10th May 2016
I was contacted by Penguin, who are running an awesome summer campaign called #SummerSix, and actually received two different stories for the campaign. This was one of them and I honestly can’t wait to pick it up for the BookTubeAThon happening from the 18th to 24th.
Release Date: July 14th 2016
This is the other book that I got from Penguin for the #SummerSix campaign. This one in particular really caught my interest so I can’t wait to read this one for the BookTubeAThon too!
Release Date: December 31st 2015
Another book I’m particularly excited to get to is this one. The lovely folks from Black & White Publishing sent me a copy and I just really can’t wait to conclude this trilogy. I really enjoyed the first book and am halfway through the second so I’ll be able to jump straight into the final instalment once I’m done!
Release Date: July 21st 2016
I picked up a copy of this one when I headed to Falkirk for the book launch. It was such a great night and I ended up starting the book on the train ride home. I was hooked completely. Such an excellent read.
Release Date: July 7th 2016
The lovely folks over at Cranachan sent me an ARC of this beautiful book this week and it came beautifully wrapped and there was even chocolate! It was broken but it still tasted good! I’m really excited to read this one sometime soon.
Release Date: September 6th 2016
I picked up the first two books in this series on Amazon when someone mentioned them on Twitter and I fell in love with the covers. I believe the first book was free at the time and I jumped at the chance – who doesn’t love a free book? I honestly have no idea what these books are about but I’m excited to find out one day.
Another ebook I bought this month because of its absolutely gorgeous cover was this one. I also got this one because Jeffrey Cook is in a NaNoWriMo group I’m in on Facebook and I love seeing stories that were originally NaNoWriMo stories. This looks like it’s going to be an amazing read and it’s the beginning of a series that’s already five books strong so I hope I’m in for a new series to fall in love with!
