I wasn’t going to do daily updates, but I figured why not? So, here’s Day One!
I started this book on January 1st, so I was actually on 8% when I picked it up on Monday. By the time I went to bed, I was on 48%. I’m really enjoying this book. I’m dying to know what the twist is, because I know there is one. People have been freaking out about it on Twitter.
This story started off on WattPad and I love it when stories get success from there. This one is so well written and has such an interesting plot line exploring social media and fandoms. It’s not released until June but I’d highly recommend checking it out on WattPad (the published version is slightly different and has more chapters apparently).
I don’t know how many pages this book is because Goodreads doesn’t say and I only have an eARC, which is a bit of a bummer in terms of tracking my page count this week, but nevermind. Very much enjoying this one!
I started this book on January 1st as well and got to page 44. This was going to be my first read of 2017 but I think Follow Me Back might just be finished before it. I’m really enjoying this book too. It’s about a young girl and her granpa who travel to Skye over the summer holidays. I already have a bad feeling about some of the sketchy things her granpa is doing, but I’m reserving judgement until I see the story behind it.
This one is released at the end of January/early February and I’m really hoping to make it to the book launch in Stirling (which thankfully isn’t too far from me – it’s awesome being able to go to bookish events that I don’t have to travel loads for). Cranachan have published some wonderful fiction and I know I’m going to love this one already.
So, today, I finished on page 110, meaning I read 66 pages of this book and that’s the only pages I can really count because of silly Goodreads not giving me a page number for Follow Me Back.
Books Finished: N/A
