Another day down! I had a great day yesterday and here’s what I read.
So… I stayed up until 3am to finish this book because I could not put it down! This is seriously addictive fiction with a killer twist at the end. I finished and sat for a full minute just blinking and trying to turn the page because I needed to know what was happening. This is so cleverly written and I’m for sure picking this up when it’s released so I can read it all over again.
Because this was a NetGalley eARC, there are always tiny formatting errors in the ebooks, but this one was actually helpful. At one point near the end of the book is said I was on page 322, so although there was pages after it, I’m going to add 322 as my page count for this book on the official tally.
Seriously freaking loved this book so much, it’s unreal.
I had work so I didn’t have as much time to read as I would have liked, but I was still able to pick up this book in between trying to sort out all my other stuff I have going on. The bonus was finishing my ebook in the early hours, which meant I didn’t have to try and finish both books in the afternoon/evening.
I was really hoping to finish this book yesterday but sadly, I got distracted by a new DLC of a game I love playing coming out so I didn’t quite get there. I’m on page 224, having read 114 pages last night.
Still very much loving this book and I’m keen to finish it just so I can pass it on to my mum because I know she’ll love it too. The dialect and references could have been lifted out of our life, it’s so great to read a Scottish book that doesn’t try so hard.
