I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I’m not usually one for non-fiction, but this book is written in such a way that you almost don’t realise that it’s not fiction. Lucy has a wonderful voice for storytelling and I enjoyed learning about her journey through life so far.

This was a really fun kid’s book. It didn’t take me long to finish it and I found it really entertaining. The illustrations were beautiful and matched the tone of Jones’s words perfectly.

This is one of many graphic novels I got from Humble Bundle and I loved it. I wasn’t sure about it to start with but then the story picked up and I was sucked in completely. Going to be looking out for the second volume when I have a little extra money to spend.

This book has been a bit of a ride for me. I’m enjoying the mystery and figuring out how everyone fits together, but there’s a couple of things that have bugged me while reading. The point of view can slip between several characters within a couple of paragraphs, events are repeated from numerous people’s perspective without adding much – if anything – and the way the chapters are set out can feel a little disjointed at times. Having said that, none of it bothered me so much that I set the book down.

I’m honestly loving this story so much. There’s one thing that confuses me about it, but I’m hoping it’s explained by the end of the book, if not then I’ll mention it in the review. It’s a beautiful story and I’m keen to see how it ends. It’s a slow build, this one, but so worth it.

I’m not sold on this one. There’s a lot about it that’s bothering me right now, but I don’t feel like I’m far enough into the story to decide for sure what my feelings are one way or the other. I’m giving it a chance.
