March was a funny old month. It was a little good, a little bad. I wasn’t that productive, to be honest, but here’s what I read/received.
I’m a little late with this wrap up. Once again, I’ve let things go a bit mental and I’m juggling several projects all at once. Good news is, I had a very productive week last week and I’m back on track! So, with that said, let’s see what my February in books looked like.
I can’t believe we’re already into our second month of 2017! That is actually scary. January was a bit of a mixed bag for me, personally. I was ill for a bit and we had a family bereavement during the middle of the month, too. It wasn’t all doom and gloom though, I started the ball rolling on a new opportunity and I managed to (mostly) stick to my new blog schedule. Onwards and upwards for February!
I haven’t done a post like this in a long time and I really miss doing them. While I used to upload videos to my BookTube channel, I’ve decided lately to take a step back from YouTube and focus on my blogging again, so this month the wrap up is here on the blog. Enjoy!
September was a pretty great month for me – even though I effectively killed my back at the beginning. I had a lot of time to read while I recuperated and then I was on holiday for two weeks too! Overall, despite being in horrible, horrible pain, I think it was a great month.
Another month has come and gone and I think I’ve had a pretty good month, all things considered. I did a ton of readathons and I even had a week off work in the middle of the month, which was lovely and relaxing.
July has been an awesomely bookish month for me! I got some awesome new books, went to YALC down in London and met so many awesome people, and generally read a crapton of books too! So, I’m not going to ramble on about it here, I’ll just jump straight in. Continue reading
I can’t believe June is over already! Where has the time gone? We’re already halfway through the year! That’s crazy. This month, I’ve been busy job hunting and not having much luck. I’m trying to move in with my boyfriend in Dundee (which is a 42 minutes train ride away from me) so I’m looking for a job in that area that will give me the financial security to make the move. As I said though, not having much luck. I’m spending hours going through job listings and my reading has suffered a bit because of it. I’m trying to focus more on my YALC books now that it’s only a few weeks away. I’m getting super excited about it! I’ll have a post going up soon dedicated to it. Continue reading
May was a bit of a crazy month for me with all my final assignments due and revising for my exam. I did a fair bit of reading but not as much as I’d have liked. Now that my university is all over (until October), I’m hoping that I can power through a lot of my TBR!
With three university assignments and a shift change at work this month, it’s a wonder I managed to find any time to read anything at all! Luckily, I managed to make a small dent in my TBR pile – however much I wish it was bigger – and now that most of my university things are over for the summer, I should be able to speed through most of the rest of the books. It’s been a relatively quiet April, I have to say.
