You may have noticed that the blog has been a bit sporadic and sparse as late and I do apologise for that. My personal life has been getting quite hectic and I’m afraid my poor blog has been suffering because of it. I am endeavouring to fix this in the coming weeks but I wanted to share some news with you in the mean time!
I have a new job! As of July 17th I will officially be a Bookseller in an academic book shop within a local university and I cannot wait to get started.
In the meantime, I’ve been working full time at my current job – hence the lack of posts on the blog. It’s an exciting new phase in my life and I’m eager to get started. With that in mind, I’m going to attempt to schedule some posts ahead of time so that I don’t have weeks with nothing posted any more.
Thanks for your patience guys, I really do appreciate all of you sticking around during my transitory period.
Hope you guys are having a great summer!
Don’t worry, it’s nothing too serious. I’m going to be taking a break from the blog for the month of April – and the rest of March. It’ll be down to basics: Monday Updates, Side Challenge Saturdays, and Week In Review posts. This is for a couple of reasons. The first is that it’s Camp NaNoWriMo and I want to be able to focus more on that. It’s also my birthday month and I want to be able to relax. Finally, my anxiety has crept back into my life and I want to make sure I take the steps I need to so that I can nip it in the bud before it becomes the hulking great monster it was to me before.
I hope that you guys will understand and my hope is that in May I’ll have a ton of reviews all ready to go and a full week of posts scheduled for you guys to read for the entire month.
I’m sorry to leave you guys hanging in the mean time. It sucks that I’m regressing with my mental health and I don’t want to stress myself out any more than I already am.
Thanks for understanding and I will see you guys on the other side.
Hey guys! Sorry I’ve been MIA from the blog this week. My trusty laptop crapped out on me completely on Monday afternoon before I was able to schedule any posts and I wasn’t able to get a new laptop (thanks to a little loan from the bank of Mum and Dad) until Wednesday evening. I’ve spent since Wednesday evening until today trying to get all the updates installed and stop the silly thing from making things non-responsive and such.
So, this means there was a lack of posts this week unfortunately and I’ll be playing catch up with an extra day of reviews next Saturday. I should be back to normal as of tomorrow with my Week In Review posts.
Just wanted to let you guys know what was going on.
Hope you’ve had a great week.
Holy crap, it’s 2017! Last year was a pretty brutal one if you were a celebrity – old or otherwise – but we’ve made it through and hopefully this new year will be kinder to everyone. Personally, 2016 was a great year for me and moving forward, I’m hoping to build on the momentum that I’ve built. Continue reading
It’s that time of year again! It’s the last day of the year and I can’t wait to tell you how this past year has gone for me. Continue reading
Today I was going to be posting my first Sort It September post, but today’s been a hard day and I’m going to tell you exactly why because I feel like this on-going situation I have is going to seriously affect my blog in this coming month…
Hey guys, I can’t believe we’re already four days into February! Continue reading
It’s January 1st 2016! Where did last year go?? Continue reading
Soooo I’ve been a bit inactive lately and there’s a couple reasons for that. Mostly, it’s the fact that I finished my job of five years on Friday the 4th, moved in with my boyfriend that same day and then started my new job on Monday the 7th… things have been a bit crazy around here, as you can probably imagine. Continue reading
Hey guys! Sorry I haven’t been as active on the blog lately as I would usually be. I’ve had a lot going on in the month of September and it’s really made me fall behind in a lot of things. Today marks the start of my OU module A363 so there goes even more of my time! Continue reading
